Had an issue with my Drs surgery - had an appointment for my little girl, then the receptionist said that the dr wasn't available now to see her... with an alternative appointment late on that afternoon. I was very annoyed about this because the receptionist also told me there was only 1dr in the surgery and no nurses (that means the dr was rushing through all of the patients) went to this pharmacy for advice. The pharmacist came out gave me advice on what they thought about my little girl and even wrote a letter for me to go back to the surgery - I ended up getting in to see the dr and got a prescription for my daughter.
This chemist made me feel welcome, I trusted them unlike the Drs surgery which is just round the corner - how is this even allowed to happen? (And they didn't cancel anybody else's appointment, the same patients were still there when I got back) - I didn't get the pharmacists name but thankyou xxx and I will be complaining to nhs England as this is one of many issues I and my family have had with this surgery Original Comment Report...

Visited to ask for help and guidance with back pain, asked for Solpadine as I have had these before in the past and they have helped for short term, was met by the third degree and refusal of the product, I was informed I would have to visit my doctor- useful advice when it was late on a Friday evening and stopping pain until an appointment can be gained is surprisingly not possible. I visited another chemist on the same day and didn't have an issue. Note to management train staff in customer service and get a uniform! Safe to say I wouldn't visit again and have made sure people I know won't either! Original Comment Report...
