Generally helpful and pleasant service. I am grateful we have a chemist in Delph as it's very convenient. I was offered a free blood pressure check here recently. I was impressed with how the staff dealt with all the pressures under the COVID-19 restrictions and demand for lateral flow tests. My only suggestion is to let customers know you are aware of their presence when you are all in the downstairs room. I don't mind waiting for a few minutes as long as I know you know I'm there! |

Love this chemist the staff are really nice it’s a shame some customers are not so nice . Been in a couple of times where a customer has been quite rude to the girls . It’s not there fault if your doctor gets your prescription wrong nor is it there fault if your medication is not in stock . Have some respect they deserve it . I opted to collect my repeat prescription from this pharmacy as it is local. I have been to collect my medication regularly for several years always accompanied by my small dog. This has never been an issue until today. The door was open and waited for give minutes for someone to attend the counter. I could hear a conversation going on in the back room so closed the door to alert staff to my presence. The lady who came out didn't apologise but said they couldn't hear anything whilst in the back. She then proceeded to say although my dog was cute and fluffy it was policy not to allow dogs in the shop and there was a notice on the door. I have never seen a notice and at no.point in the last several years has anyone objected. I am always conscious of where I can go with my dog as there are medical reasons why she accompanies me which I would have hoped pharmacy staff would have appreciated. Although inconvenient I will be moving to another pharmacy.I appreciate now why there is never anyone in this one. Such a shame when with a little empathy pharmacy staff could be using their skills to help the community, and easing the current pressures on the NHS by supporting patients in the community
