About 3 weeks ago I took a prescription for my husband and myself and asked if they could be delivered as I would be unable to get back due to our car having a repair. When the prescription was delivered a couple of days later my husbands was the only one delivered so I had to ask a neighbour to take me the following day to collect mine. The following week I asked that they pick up a couple of prescriptions from the surgery and delivery them for me due to the fact that my husband had sustained an injury and was unable to drive. They weren’t delivered and my daughter had to leave work early to collect them. Last Thursday 9th August I asked for my prescription to be collected from surgery and delivered. My daughter had to leave work early again as no delivery. She was inforit hadn’t even been collected from the surgery. The service has really deteriorated over the last 12 months | ||||||

I have used this pharmacy for years without a problem but in the last 12 months it has got worse and worse. I have had a number of incidents with the pharmacy including having to ring repeatedly times for a repeat prescription I had to collect emergency supply tablets from them. After chasing them up twice I was told they had sent my prescription, then denied they'd ever heard from me then they had it but it wasn't ready. After 3 weeks I received it. Then a week later I received it all again - without asking! I have received letter saying I have failed to pay for my prescription and am going to be charged - although I am exempt from paying because the pharmacist had ticked the wrong box. When I told the pharmacist about this they said I should go to the shop and fill in the form myself then! This week I ordered 2 repeat prescriptions on Monday, was told they would be ready and delivered on Wednesday. 1 came. I chased the other up, they said they had it but it hadn't been delivered for some reason but they'd deliver it Thurs. I rang Thurs it's not here, it'll probably be out for delivery, if you've not got it by 4pm phone back. I phoned back at 4pm. Yes your prescription is here. No we can't delivered the driver has finished now, can't you come and get it? Which I couldn't, that why I wanted it delivered in the first place. So I was told it would be Friday now and I'd have to do without until then. They can't give me a time it will come as they don't tell the driver what order to deliver, no they can't put a note on it for me, t's up to them. It will be sometime between 10am - 4pm. It's just not good enough. If they offer this service why can't they deliver on it? Really unhappy with the service and the attitude of the staff. | ||||||

This used to be my go to chemist with some amazing staff and service, Changes have been made and this service has now fallen way short. prescription services are unreliable and front of house staff consistently provide excuses without apology for the failings that happen. | ||||||
