This shop has become a victim of its own success. I chose this for my monthly prescription for its opening hours. Early and very late. Brilliant for my shift working hours. Now you never know when it’s open and if it is you get turned away to come back because there isn’t a pharmacist till 11.30 am. They blame the gp, the gp blames them for scripts not being there meanwhile a helpless patient is stood there. Yes a patient not a customer. The place has no organisation, no where to stand for prescriptions, stood between shelves. No privacy or confidentiality. Every time I go in I have to check my prescription
Because there is always something missing or they try to disperse one item instead of 5. Unfortunately I’m looking at changing to another chemist that runs less hours but with smaller area will offer less stress. The staff are always working hard. I know when I go in some days when the regular staff are there they will have another look for my script and find it but other days with other staff I have to say will you please recheck. Every time I go now I anticipate the scenario of explaining what my monthly script is. How many years I’ve been going to the chemist. Basically when the shop
Layout was different and I’ve been a loyal paying customer in the shop also longer than some of them have worked there. Sorry, don’t like to leave bad reviews because the staff are nice. I’m disappointed that I feel the need to stop using this once great service.

Left my prescription with the pharmacy after being told that they didn't have the medication in stock but would order it for collection in two days.
When I returned, I was kept waiting for twenty minutes while they searched for the prescription, to no avail. I got the impression that they didn't believe that I'd left it there, but then they asked me to write my name and date of birth on a sticky note and confirmed that the prescription request had been logged on their computer. However they could not hand over the medication because I did not have the prescription.
At no stage did I receive any apology for being kept waiting and I was left with no option but to return to my GP's surgery and request a replacement prescription, which caused a further one day delay.
Needless to say, I will be giving this pharmacy a wide berth in future.
Although the staff appear to be well intentioned, they appear to be constantly stressed and frustrated by the inflexibility and shortcomings of the prescription system that they are forced to work with, and don't feel obliged to apologise to customers when things go wrong.
I've previously witnessed other customers experience similar problems to mine whilst waiting to be served at this pharmacy. Maybe Lloyds should consider sending the staff on a customer care course ? Original Comment Report...

Hi there
Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I apologise for the disappointing service and long wait times you experienced when visiting our pharmacy. This certainly isn't the standard of service we expect for our customers. I understand this must have been very frustrating and I'm sorry for any upset caused.
I will ensure this recorded and shared with the Regional Management Team, who will take any appropriate action found to be necessary. I hope that the pharmacy team will reflect on this matter and make the appropriate changes to their professional practices.
I apologise for any inconvenience this matter has caused and hope you do see an improvement in future.
