There are some staff working there that are totally arrogant, jobs worth, the rest are fine! |

I have used this Pharmacy for 25years. In that time it has changed from an independently family owned business to a group run concern. The current pharmacist has been there for over a year and is doing an excellent job. He knows his customers as do many of his staff. He has gone out of his way to be helpful and shows friendly concern for my welfare. IHe works very gard, so much so that he is often lucky to 'grab a sandwich' at 3pm because he is 'flat out' for most of the day. I would suggest that the suggestion that some surgeries are slow to prescribe is genuine as I know my own surgery has been guilty of this on many occasions. This pharmacy is much busier than its competitor across the road. Maybe I shouldn't be writing this as they are busy enough as it is but I felt that the negative review needed to be challenged. |

For many years now we have used this Pharmacy, but over recent years the service levels have seen an unacceptable decline. Below are some examples:
In the past we have been issued someone else's prescription in error.
There have been occasions when repeat prescriptions haven't been received, with the Pharmacy blaming the Doctor's surgery for the error.
More recently, following a GP visit, two prescriptions were issued direct from the surgery to the Pharmacy at 09:30 one morning. When we went to pick up the medication four and a half hours later (14:00), the staff at the Pharmacy had not even looked at the new prescriptions that had been sent through, and as a result a return visit was needed to collect the tablets.
There rarely seems to be a regular Pharmacist in attendance, but rather a locum. |
