I needed an emergency script and was told by the on duty pharmacist on the Sunday to get it faxed through to the pharmacy. The surgery did so the following day and I then returned to Balsall late afternoon to be told their fax machine wasn't working, that I should have called 111, and that anyway dispensing meds are at the pharmacists's discretion, whatever that means. Singularly unhelpful. I had to start from scratch - imagine if I had learning difficulties, was old, infirm or relying on someone to drive me around. I will qualify this review by saying that the counter staff were lovely, it was the pharmacists who were indifferent and frankly rude.
