I went into the chemist to collect my prescription and the woman behind the till was talking to a customer (NOT about medical things). A queue started behind me then the lady shouted for help to serve the queue, this happens everytime!!!!! I come into this pharmacy. I'm sorry but the women in the dispensing part of the shop are busy getting on with there job, maybe the lady in the shop should stop the talking and do more serving she might find she wont need the help of staff that are actually doing there job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have always just popped into this chemist as it is round the corner from my workplace to order my fathers prescription and then collect it a few days later. I recently went in to do the same and was informed they no longer offer this service and my dad has to call his doctor instead. The reason for this : we are too busy. This does not seem like a good enough reason as other chemists still offer this service.
My father has now spent all day trying to get through on the phone to his doctor which ended on him having to finish work early and travel across the city and go in to the doctor himself. The receptionist informed him that they’d had several complaints regarding this branch. Seems like they are putting unnecessary pressure on GP services and causing inconvenience in peoples lives. My fathers tablets are for dangerously high blood pressure and I am just glad I went in before they were due as he potentially could have been left without medication. It’s just not good enough. Thank you for telling us about this; we appreciate your comment and are sorry if the level of customer service did not meet our normal standard on your visit. I can confirm we have had a change in procedure and due to an increase number of calls to the Pharmacy we no longer accept repeat prescription requests over the phone to ensure any patients with queries can get through to the pharmacy without being on hold for a long period of time. However we still do accept taking in patient repeat slips to order medication on behalf of them and drop these into the surgery the follow day.

I went into the willerby road shop to get some things the girls in there are very friendly and polite. I do feel sorry for them as they do take some stick from other customers which is unfair.
Something I would like to bring to your attention is the smell. My job is pest control and I can tell straight away from the smell that you have dead pests on your property. As its summer I think you need to get this sorted asap as it could make staff or the public ill. It needs to be sorted straight away especially as you have peoples medications in your shop.
