I’ve been using Boots Pharmacy on Carolgate for over a year before finally switching (thank goodness). I never understand why I get the text to say my prescription is ready but EVERY time it’s a faff to find it?? How hard is it? It’s ALWAYS in the box behind you…instead we have to play the pantomime game of where is it, let’s check the computer…no….”did you get a text?”…yes…..let’s check in a box of papers….no….oh here it is in the box behind me - where it is every time! And don’t get me started on how hard it is when you work full time to actually pick your prescription up. Not at lunchtime because the “out for lunch” sign will be up or “sorry we don’t have a pharmacist this morning”. It’s just a poor standard all round and not good enough, sorry.

Went in 21 December 2021, had to wait in a queue whilst Becki (pharmacist) had a chat with her friend who was at the pharmacy servery. Then when my turn came told to wait whist she completed paperwork for 5 minutes. No others in the pharmacy que and could have easily served me, but was rude and made me wait unnecessarily. Then I asked for a product, she was rude and totally unhelpful trying to divert me away from the product I asked for which is a non prescription medication. I am a qualified nurse and this woman was unprofessional and totally unhelpful. Made to feel as though customers were not welcome. Awful and best avoided.

A terrible experience,prescriptions never ready on time,having to wait over 7 days since the prescription was issued to them to actually getting it.receiving no texts as promised,missing off items from the prescriptions,having to go without medicine that was needed.There are queues at the Pharmacy counter with other people complaining and no one serving on the nearby drug counter.Disorganised chaos!
