I don't know how anyone can rate this pharmacy as anything other than abysmal. Staff stand around doing very little whilst customers wait to be served (not on in an indoor environment in the midst of a covid pandemic!!), and act like they're doing you a favour when they do serve you. My prescription was ordered on a Thursday and because of a Bank Holiday I waited until Wednesday to collect it only to be told it had not been sent through. They refused to contact my GP to check saying it was down to me. I had to visit my GP where I was advised the prescription had been sent through on the Friday. I returned to the pharmacy where, after kicking up a fuss, they admitted it had been received but wouldn't be ready until the next day. I returned Thursday (the day on which the medication should start) only to be told it wouldn't be ready until Friday. This meant one day left without medication. I returned Friday and was told it would be ready Saturday at which point I advised them I would within 30 minutes and expected it to be ready. It was part ready - one item was out of stock. The person who served me obviously thought this was a huge joke when I pointed out that this excuse for a pharmacy is leaving patients without prescribed medication, some of which is required to keep them alive as she had a smirk across her face. And when I suggested they deliver the prescription she was almost apoplectic. Eventually, and with a struggle, I got my prescription back and took it elsewhere. | ||||||

The staff at Wells chemist in Poulton-le-fylde are absolutely brilliant. They put absolutely everything I to the community and always do there best to help you. There manager is also brilliant and is very welcoming. I would recommend wells chemist in Poulton-le-fylde to anyone locally you can't get a better welcoming anywhere else. The staff are warm and kind. The regular pharmacist has a wealth of knowledge and I always feel very reassured when taking advice from her. She really is a credit to her profession. Would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
