Refused to let my carer wait for my prescription which was due for collection that day. Told to come back later, told in agony and in urgent need of medication and that I can't return later hence why my carer was sent to collect it. Repeatedly refused to process my script or wait, resulting in me becoming frustrated and telling them my carer will wait as I have no other option. Pharmacist Jas called me following day telling me that I was rude and my behaviour will not be accepted and to go find another pharmacy. Despite tryibg to explain my situation pain and urgency for my medication I was told that I was not a priority and I have no right to demand my medication and we will give it to you when we want not when you tell us too? Confusing considering my script was already printed and due to be collected. I have every right to collect my medication on the day it should be collected, why would you refuse a person in agony their medication, why would you refuse to let them wait. A patient coming from a doctors with a script can walk in handover a script and receive it straightway. It is not my fault you have 400 other scripts to process and i expect as a standard of care that you would listen to medical needs and urgency and atleast consider thr patients needs rather then your own low staffing levels. I don't appreciate being hung up on twice when trying to resolve the situation and asking for me to allow to explain the situation again clearly as to why I was frustrated the day before. Simply ignored, told I don't want to listen to you and hung up on. Is this the type of disgraceful behaviour acceptable by pharmasists working in the health sector. It's not the first time I've heard bad stories about this same member of staff. It saddens me that I have to add yet another review of horrific treatment
