They have a poor stock of medication and there is lack of communications as medication is never ready on time. With staff showing little effort to help resolve solutions

Went to collect a prescription today after being told yesterday it would be ready this afternoon. It wasn't ready. I was told I could wait 40 minutes or comeback on Tuesday, 3 days after my current medication would run out, even though it only required checking. I opted to wait, of course.
I understand that it's a busy period. However, I don't appreciate being yelled at by staff because I need a medication which I was told would be ready. I wonder if staff are aware how stressful the thought of running out of vital medication is? I wonder if staff understand that it's not my fault they are 2 days behind? I wonder if staff understand that it's extremely irritating to make a special trip to collect medication at a time THEY suggested to be then told it won't be ready for another 4 days? I still cannot understand the logic of a 40 minute wait or 4 days.
This was on top of poor service the week before when medication wasn't ready when I was told it would be and staff had trouble finding the prescription.
