I have been using this chemist for a very long time. The staff are friendly and helpful and always go out of their way. The medication is transferred from the GP quickly and I have never had any issues. My surgery sent a prescription on 25th January 2019 to Everretts. Following Wednesday they couldn't find it (a new computer system, please bear with us). Called again on Friday. Still not there. It was suggested I went to the surgery and spoke to them.
The surgery took details and said a prescription would be issued urgently.
Called at Everett again. No sight of it. Back to the surgery.. given the number to enable Everetts to trace it. They couldn't...then the lady said...I gave it to you last week, two items. Yet the system doesn't show the prescription as being received or dispensed.
So, I know I am 70, but I am far from stupid or suffering from any mental aberration. How very rude.
So, what do I think of Everetts... not a lot Reply from Hj Everett (Chemist) Limited Wed, 13 Feb 2019 12:12:37 Z Dear Sir/Madam, I apologise for the inconvenience of your unreceived prescription. As you say, our computer change on that day has resulted in a small number of prescriptions being not received in between the closure of the previous system and the opening of the new system - admittedly through our tardiness/lack of organisation in branch.I believe now all these scripts have been identified and retrieved, and service can now resume, albeit with our staff learning a new computer system.I hope that in time you will see benefits of our change,in ways of accuracy, clarity, availability of pharmacist time, and obtaining medicines more readily (though this will take time ,after Brexit effects).Thank you for your patience, and please let me know if you have any further problems at this branch or any other. Yours sincerely,Tim Baker, Superintendent Pharmacist. |

The pharmaciy staff ignore customers. The electronic service from the GP takes a minimum of four days and then even longer for controlled medications or medications for cancer. They are utterly insensitive to customers but demand to be with deference themselves. I hate using this chemist. |
