I had to visit the pharmacy today. A very pleasant member of staff served me. There was a customer in front of me, & 4 behind me. The member of staff took so long to serve that 2 waiting behind me walked away. The member of staff moved around in away, that seemed as if she was taking a walk in the park, pleasantly chatting to staff sat at a computer screen, while handing her a plastic tray in the slowest motion I've eve seen. She gave the distinct impression that was the limit of her multi tasking! She took 8 minutes to serve the person Infront of me, who requested 2 items. The member of staff had to go away & look for both, but made sure she smiled & chatted to other staff along the way! She's either been instructed to take things slow, or maybe she is just oblivious to keeping people waiting! No apology offered either. I HAD TO go in there to get items for a friend that is very ill. Needless to say I'm sticking with Boots the chemist all the way! They know how to work in 5th gear, & apologize for the wait when they've done their best,or at leaste what is humanly possible!
