After confirming that they could fulfill my child's prescription, I was asked to wait for 40 minutes for the processing. Once the time elapsed, they informed me that the prescription was ready, but I needed to return in 3 days because the prescribed medicine would only last that long in the fridge. I explained that I was not local and had stopped by as I was passing through (which they could verify from my address). However, they insisted I couldn't go to another pharmacy in 3 days for the remaining prescription and that I HAD to come back to them or obtain another prescription from my doctor in 3 days time. I found this odd and requested my prescription back, so I could go to another pharmacy. In response, they handed me the prescription paperwork and made a rude and uncalled-for comment: 'I hope you're happy now, we've had to throw a bottle of medicine away.' This was shocking and hurtful, especially given the circumstances of my sick child and the lengthy wait, yet they offered no apology. I decided to go to a different pharmacy, where they fulfilled the prescription within 5 minutes and assured me that the medicine would last up to 14 days in the fridge (the medicines instructions also confirm this). This raised concerns about what the Morrisons pharmacy was trying to give me, as it clearly did not align with what they were telling me. I am hesitant to leave negative reviews, but I am genuinely worried about my experience today and the unprofessional attitude displayed by the female staff member, particularly in front of my child and other customers. They had clearly made an error and not been transparent, I would advise to avoid this pharmacy!
