I was surprised to see such a low rating. My experience has been nothing but good. The staff have been very kind helping me with prescriptions and advise. They have explained things clearly and really helped me when medication I needed was delayed. I have no criticism at all, and have even helped deliver items I needed that were not prescription. Great service. | ||||||

My parents moved to Evercreech in 2015. Right from the start they could not have been more helpful. They always delivered their prescriptions on time, and were more than helpful when I had occasions to collect additional medication. After a long illness, my father passed away in December. Throughout his and Mums illness they have showed great compassion, and continue to give my Mum excellent service. She is diabetic, and therefore it is imperative she receives her medication on time. Well done to all the staff for your kindness.

This is my local pharmacy, so I have to go here quite often to pick up my repeat prescription. I say 'repeat' prescription, but it is not, I still have to telephone in advance to get it ordered - something they failed to tell me, and I had to find out from the doctors surgery after a year of going without my daily medication for a week out of every month. They not only failed to tell me this the hundreds of times I telephoned them, but also were rude bordering on abusive when I went in to pick up my prescription. Due to agoraphobia and intense anxiety, it is very difficult for me to go out anyway, but they have made it near impossible for me to pick up my daily medication with their abominable attitude. There is no empathy, no care for the unwell customers who are basically what keep their business afloat, because customers from the village basically have no choice but to go there if they are unable to drive to the (frankly excellent) Boots in Shepton Mallet. If you need to get medication and don't want pharmacy staff and pharmacist being aggressive verbally when you pick up your prescriptions, I recommend travelling out of the village. Also, if you have just moved here from somewhere that actually had repeat prescriptions and let you know when your prescription was ready to be collected, really, don't expect anything near this service in Evercreech unless you arrange for your prescriptions to be collected from a different pharmacy. I am disgusted that people with no manners are allowed to deal with the unwell, frail and elderly of our community. Most of the village know better than to use this local pharmacy if they want to be treated like humans. | ||||||
