I used to get my regular monthly repeat prescriptions within three working days. Now in November 2022 I have to wait a whole week for them. The system whereby you order your medication from M S Solanky chemist rather than by handing in a written request for monthly regular medication from the Manor Practice Surgery is just not working. Both M.S. Solanky chemist and the Manor Practice Surgery are to blame for these inconsistencies. There is a clear lack of communication between the Manor Practice Surgery and M.S. Solanky Chemist and other patients have noticed this as well. No one should have to wait three days for their medication they could possibly die without it and certainly patients could end up at A and E at Whipps Cross Hospital or Homerton Hospital if they become unwell without their medication. The Clinical Commissioning Group the CCG should also get involved. Apart from that the chemist is always closed between 1.00pm and 1.30pm also they close early at 6.00pm on a Thursday. They only have one chair for patients to sit on. Due to Covid they only allow four customers inside the shop. M.S.Solankly chemist is usually understaffed and their computers are slow to update prescriptions that are sent there automatically from the Manor Practice Surgery so you could be waiting over half an hour before getting your prescription medication from the Chemist. Overall the chemist needs more staff the medications need to be in stock not out of stock and the staff need to show more respect to their customers who are often in pain.
