My blister pack that I have delivered is often late by days which leaves me without my medication which is life saving, I totally rely on this pharmacy because I am housebound, I have had to contact another day Lewis pharmacy to ask if they would pass a message on because they did not answer their phones for the two days I was phoning all day and was exhausted , answerphone was on constantly, i was so anxious I was in tears and my carer had to stay with me overnight. They lie to me that my separate prescriptions will be delivered , I chase them up if I ever get through on the phone and they then say they weren’t in stock when I ve waited for weeks never contact me to say so I go without, I’m not sure if they need training, customer care or if that’s the policy of this pharmacy, my doctor has said to leave and go with Exeter community pharmacy which is better so I will, but it’s a shame as its local and I have lived here all my life..it’s just incompetent and the staff need changes. |

Just awful service. The counter staff appear overwhelmed, so are curt and rude and show little respect for the customers who are waiting for their meds. I had a script go in on a Thursday and there was still no sign of it on the Tuesday. I had to return 4 times. No one answered the phone so I could check it was in before retuning again and again. I shall be taking my scripts elsewhere from now on. |

I have been a customer of this pharmacy for many years but over the last 2 years or so the service has badly deteriorated. Maybe not helped by the additional pressure caused by the closure of nearby pharmacies, but it regularly seems overwhelmed. Delays in filling prescription, items out of stock, inability to get through on the telephone, lunchtime branch closure (even though the web site says it is open) are common themes. The staff seem to be doing their best but aren't being helped by the number of disgruntled customers they are having to deal with. Temporary staff shortfall is understandable but that excuse wears thin when in constant use. It's time Day Lewis provided this branch with the support it needs or I, like the two customers I overheard sounding off today, will be going elsewhere. |
