We've made it our mission to take the hassle out of prescriptions. To do this, we're changing how we work so that we can give you more choice in how you get your medicines.
Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Shocking chemist.
2 consecutive months my blister pack was light of 3 pills . Apparently out of stock.
But no contact from the pharmacy to my doctor or myself to discuss possible replacements.
Apparently not enough time in the day to tell people about missing items.
Quite a few other items missing from orders , some still missing from last delivery , which arrived - days early , requested by me I was told , absolute rubbish

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say how well my local pharmacy has supported me this year! I have relied on them to arrange my medication and and cannot fault any member of the Well team at Hungerford they are all obliging and have always got a smile on their faces which in turn puts one on mine.
I really enjoyed the Christmas week as they were raising money for the Stroke Association and engaging all of their customers with this it was so lovely to see keep up the good work Hungerford look forward to being a patient in 2018 ! Original Comment Report...

The staff in the pharmacy have been wonderful on every other visit. But, today, not so great. The lovely receptionist at the Surgery processed a prescription in two hours, meaning that I could pick it up before 6pm. I went to the pharmacy at 5.54pm and the door was locked. The lack of medication prevents me from driving to Tesco etc., as I feel so sick and dizzy. I've had to ask someone to look after my young children tonight as I'm not in a fit state.
If your opening hours stated that you closed earlier, I'd have asked someone else to pick up the prescription and then gone onto another pharmacy, but your closing time is 6pm according to this page. Original Comment Report...
