I had to visit the emergency doctor at Carax Street due to an eye infection and was given a prescription for eyedrops which I took to the pharmacy onsite as I thought that was easiest. Having waited in the queue for 10 mins I was told there was a 40 minute wait (10.50am), so I said I would return after work between 3pm and 4pm to collect the medication. I arrived back at the pharmacy at 3.30pm and got to the front of the queue 20 mins later at 3.50pm - I should have expected the worst when the lady next to me told me that the prescription she had handed in two hours previously had been lost! When I was eventually served I was asked in front of a queue of about 15 people for my name, address and dob and those details were repeated in a very loud voice - surely this is a breach of GDPR as anybody could have made a note of my details and used them. I was then told that despite handing in my presecription some 5 hours previously that it was not yet made up but would be put next in the queue. As I suffer from some illnesses which limit my mobility I asked to be handed back my prescription to take elsewhere -this was eventually handed over along with a load of abuse from the lady behind the counter about how inconvenient it was for them to return the script when it was 'part way through the system". She continued to shout after me as I left the building - apparently not able to understand why I was unhappy that my script was not made up after 5 hours even though i said I would be back between 3pm & 4PM so surely the latest it should have been made up was 3pm to be waiting for me at the earliest time I said I would return not the latest. I took the script to a nearby pharmacy where the whole process of my script being made up, labelled and checked by the Chemist took less than 10 minutes!

I’ve been seen by a nurse for my blood test appointment today and usually the staff is quite pleasant and patient during my treatments or appointment. But this nurse today was really unpleasant I’ve been seen by the same nurse for another blood test appointment by after which I couldn’t move my arm properly for almost a week, I don’t really know if she couldn’t locate my veins or didn’t ask me to loosen my wrist. Today during my appointment with the same nurse, she did not greet properly and after offering me a seat asked me, “date of birth” which I didn’t understand as she was speaking really fast when I ask her for the third time she got a bit mad at me. I assume she doesn’t know to frame a sentence as a reason spoke with phrases, she also looked very impatient and not helpful at all. My mum have previously told me about the same nurse that she was not at all being helpful when asked about what all tests she had to do during one of her treatment. My today’s bloody test appointment was absolutely awful with very poor service by the nurse!

I have a couple of repeat prescription that I order online. After placing the orders, I receive a confirmation that they've been placed. It also give me a date when they will be ready to collect. When I go to collect the prescriptions they are never ready & I have to wait for them to be made up. I find this ridiculous. what is the point of ordering online and waiting a few days but still having to wait for them to be made up when you go to collect? I get asked if I would like to wait whilst they are prepared. Well no I wouldn't, I would like them ready prior to me arriving. This pharmacy needs to look into this as it's not very efficient. NOT HAPPY.
