We are sorry hear that you were disappointed with our service. We had requested your Pill from your surgery as requested by you on the second occasion. When we went to collect the prescription on Thursday from your surgery, we were told that the Prescription was not issued because the Dr wanted to review the pill with the patient before it would be reissued. Since the patient was going on holiday on Sat we asked her to contact the surgery and then they would be able to send the prescription electronically to us on Friday evening. We had a similar situation with another patient for her pill with the SAME surgery. We had loaned a months supply to this patient so that the patient would not have a break in her contraception. We requested a prescription from the patients surgery and we still had not received the prescription after two weeks. We contacted the surgery and were told that she was changed to another Pill after the patients review. They would not issue us a prescription for the loaned supply we had made. The surgery said that we should have to not given the tablets without a prescription and should have sent the patient to the local Family Health Clinic. We explained that we had given a months supply so that her contraception would be continued, but they said we should not have given the Pill and they would not issue a prescription for the supply we had made. We were told not to make supplies without a prescription in the future. That is the reason why we could not make the supply to you without a prescription before you went on your holiday. We endeavour to try our best to ensure our customers receive a good service but unfortunately due to reasons beyond our control we were unable to help you on that occasion.
