On Saturday (23/07/22) I needed to collect a repeat prescription but on arrival at 9.45am, the pharmacy was locked with no lights and no information about the reason or giving advice to customers, despite the notice saying it should be open from 9am to noon. One woman had already been waiting 20 minutes in case they were just late opening and an irate gentleman was panicking as he was going on hols for a month and needed his medication. Only by visiting JHoots pharmacy nearby did I learn that I needed to ring 111 to get permission for them to dispense my drugs (which took 45 minutes to get through). I found on Monday that it was closed because of a staff problem, which I have no issue with (these things happen), what infuriates me is that nobody put a notice on the door letting patients know what had happened and advising them what to do. I did not even get an apology from the pharmacy on Monday, the man just said he wasn’t in on Saturday, so he couldn’t tell me why customers were not considered. I’ve used your pharmacy since it opened, but I shall now give my custom to one which actually cares for its customers.
