Myself, my husband and our two daughters all had eye tests at Askew Eyewear. The optometrist was brilliant, explained everything that they were doing and why. This even happened during the children's eye tests where the optometrist explained everything in a way that they (aged 7yrs and 5yrs) could understand. It was our youngest daughter's first eye test and she was completely put at ease and even found it to be quite fun as a result. My husband already wears glasses and I found out that I too was required to wear them, something which I had a suspicion was going to be the case. I received such great advice on choosing some frames, never did I feel pressured to buy and I was amazed at the skill of the owner to choose frames that would suit me but at the same time knowing what was appropriate for my age and style. I highly recommend this opticians to everyone definitely beats going to an impersonal high street chain that seem to have adopted a more do it yourself attitude! I have since received my new glasses and love them.

Really helpful, professional and friendly optometrist and shop staff. My contact lens fitting required multiple follow-up appointments which were all included in the very reasonable initial fee. Highly recommended for quality, customer service, friendliness and value.

Once again, a great service from the optician and her staff at Askew Eyewear. I bought the glasses I am wearing from Askew five years ago. They were expensive, but what a great product and even better Askew have helped me keep them going - I am on to my third pair of lenses. This makes sense firstly because I love the glasses - the best I’ve ever had - and secondly because I hate the way the modern world encourages us to throw things away at the earliest opportunity. Askew could have made more money selling me a new pair, but they didn’t, they’ve helped me keep my old pair going. Great stuff! Askew are highly recommended.
