First time came to the shop was to have a eye test and prescription safety goggles, took me more than 2 months to get the glasses as the reception always closed the shop regardless the Opening Times on the glass door. Recently had my eye test again, the optician totally messed up with my right eye prescription and PD, had to reorder the lens and reframe it, took more than 2 months again. The shop is closed more often than opening nowadays and never bother to put sign on door when closed. I’ll never come to the shop again, very unprofessional, cheap for reglazing but you can’t get your glasses done correctly within 2 months and you cannot find any staff as the shop is always closed!

I attended an opticians appointment over 6 weeks ago now, and my glasses have still not arrived. I have spoken to the opticians several times and each time I have been told that they will chase it up and get back to me the next day. I am yet to receive a phone call informing me of how much longer I can be expected to wait for my glasses. Today I popped into the opticians to ask how long it would take, and also to ask a question regarding my prescription as it had changed dramatically and I was having difficulty ordering more glasses online, mainly due to the length of time that it has taken for my frames to arrive, not being a trained optometrist I asked if it was possible to explain my prescription to me as I didn't understand it and I was having difficulty in placing an order... at this the person behind the desk began saying "I can assure you that we do not make mistake here your prescription is perfect I can tell you that now, pass me your prescription." This was then immediately followed with "Just wait there I will see you after I have dealt with this patient." This strange system of talking at me then telling me to wait until they had finished with the previous person happened 3 or 4 times in total. I would have been more than happy to have just waited until they were free, instead of being shouted at in public which I found to be a very unpleasant experience. Eventually I had my fill of being spoken to like this and I challenged the person behind the desk telling them that there really was no need to be so rude to me, needless to say this resulted in yet more shouting telling me that they were not being rude to me, and that this was their business and they couldn't afford to be rude to me, simply shouting at someone that you are not rude doesn't change the fact that your behaviour is rude. I left the opticians no better off than when I arrived, I still have no idea when my glasses will actually arrive, and I am unable to do anything about this now but await a phone call which may or may not ever happen. The level of service I have received here is significantly below the level I would expect from any professional establishment and I for one will personally never return, with the exception of one day hopefully being able to pick up my glasses.
