I decided to have an eye test as I was having a few problems. While my wife was shopping in tesco middleton I spoke to a member of staff in tesco optians. They sat me down and within 5 mins the optian came out and took me for a 40 min eye test, free. I was then given my prescription and left to browse. No pushy sales person. Needless to say I ended up ordering and paying for 3 pairs of vari focals. Within 5 days I had a call to say they were ready. When I went for them they were fitted by a very friendly assistant. Approx 2 weeks later I had to return as I wasn't coping with the varifocals and was worried that the pecription May not be right. This was no trouble for the staff and they gave me a second free eye test to confirm and then reordered single vision glasses. I decided then to order 2 more pairs for spares and 5 days later picked them up. The service and attitude of the staff was second to none and I will certainly be returning to tesco. Many staff dealt with me. Again tesco middleton thank you.
