I booked an appointment with a voucher given from work, I mentioned this at the time of booking and attended my appointment. After having had my eye test done and choosing frames ( I was happy to wait for new frames to arrive on back order) I was told, abruptly by the manager that they no longer take this particular voucher, that she could take it but I would still need to pay for my eye test. At the same time my wife had her eye test and we were happy to order both frames and lenses from them in order to support local business during this time, she blame the old owners about of the business using this particular voucher which I booked with them as the voucher company website told me this business was accepting them. I didn't mind paying for the eye test but why offer something that they no longer accept is beyond me, they have lost 2 designers glasses orders for the sake of an eye test voucher that no body other than the manager knew they no longer accepted. The receptionist and gentleman fitting the frames alongside the optician were fantastic and it's a shame that due to the manager lack of customer service their staff felt awkward on a situation where they knew the manager was wrong |

Excellent service with friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this practice for all your glasses and/or contact lens requirements. |
