My husband recently had to have diagnostic procedure for which he was very anxious. Both the nursing staff and Consultant, Dr Nunes, could not have been more caring or considerate of his needs throughout his procedure and during the follow up appointment. His anxiety was treated with the upmost respect which would encourage him to have similar procedures if they were necessary. Thank you so much!

whilst there is no doubting the clinical care carried out is good, my experience at the hospital has been poor due to the blatant prioritisation of cash over care. From cancelling a patients procedure at the last minute as they were concerned a rehab bed might not be available directly after the procedure and they would therefore have to look after them within the hospital longer and therefore reduce their profit. Through, discharging a patient early with no home care, again to avoid extra days stay. To a parking management system that gives out parking tickets in the time you can walk an 80 year old on crutches in through the doors to reception and get back to your car.

I was shown into my room at the Chaucer on Saturday by a kind porter. Then saw different members of staff about my procedure of left knee operation, which was reassuring, and put me at ease, as I was nervous. Waited in queue for operation, which was fair enough, was instructed what I should do beforehand, then walked down to operating theatre by a member of Staff. They put me at ease for operation, and it was very successful thank you to everyone involved, each day I get stronger and well.
