I had a consultation with the chosen consultant in February 2023, and had the operation in Little Aston in July, From the time of admittance I was welcomed by the staff and treated professionally. Having met both the surgeon and anaesthetist, prior to the operation, to explain exactly what was going to happen, the treatment proceeded as planned. The operation went well and with the excellent care provided by the Nursing staff, I was in the hospital for just over 36 hours, before being discharged. Throughout I was given first class treatment, both pre and post operative, which included a programme of physiotherapy exercise to support recovery, in an all inclusive package. Whilst knee surgery is far from a painless procedures, the alternative of living with the daily pain of a defective knee, for those that can afford to do it, surgery at Little Aston is well worth considering.
