Filled a prescription there recently (ie McCabes in the Crescent Shopping Centre). Not my usual chemist. Also, this is the first time I have ever bothered to submit a review about anything, so draw your own conclusions about that. I have nothing bad at all to say about the store or the staff. My complaint is about their pricing. A prescription, which was for 5 items in total, cost just under twice as much as I pay for the same prescription in my usual chemist (approx €30). I queried the bill and told them how much I usually paid for the same prescription elsewhere. To be fair to them they adjusted the bill to my satisfaction. Note that a mistake was not made. The bill I was first presented with was obviously prepared using their normal pricing structure. Also, to be clear, I specified and received generic brands as I always do because I have to pay for my meds myself. Thought you might like to hear about this because I'm sure you don't like to be ripped off either.
