The assistant at this pharmacy was quite "iffy" when I queried the huge price of an eye spray (£15.99 for 10mls). There was no smile, apology or any sort of interaction at all other than "that's the price".. I got the impression that she thought that if I wasn't happy I should go elsewhere. Well, I usually do but, for once, my usual pharmacy was unable to supply this spray the same day so I tried the Strand Pharmacy. Suffice it to say that I shall do without in future rather than go there again. No wonder it was empty, whereas my pharmacy, not that far up the road, was full of chatty staff and customers.
