I called Grove Pharmacy to enquire as to whether they had stock of a hard to find medication. Perhaps they get a lot of calls like this - I know that a lot of other pharmacies do but remain helpful and apologetic often making suggestions as who to try for stock. Not this pharmacy. They answer asking 'who is calling' not 'can I help you' This is followed abruptly by - yes we do have stock - goodbye! I was shocked..I am not used to be treated this way by any customer facing health professional (I also have many in my family by the way). Perhaps this should be no surprise looking at the reviews which, apart from the usual 5 stars from 'local guides' are all bad. I can seen they also try to avoid taking payments by card...says it all. AVOID.

I phoned Mr Patel and told him what I needed and to ask whether they had it in stock. He let me describe the medication and then said he was busy and to phone back. A simple yes or no would have sufficed. I phoned back and the same thing happened but this time he said he was closed. Why answer the phone then or why not just say whether the medication was in stock or not? Very poor customer service.
