Have had some tablets owed to me as part of my regular repeat prescription since the 30th Jan.....22 days later, and 4 visits to collect them, I still am not in receipt of them. I go on holiday tomorrow, and I have been given a concrete promise that they will be there at 10am for me. If not, my family can still go away, but I will be left at home due to the horror show at my once efficiently run pharmacy.

I have been using this pharmacy since well before covid and prescriptions were in paper form, rather than electronic. Covid forced prescriptions to be electronic and automatically sent to Well. No problems, ordered on a Friday, ready by Tuesday. These last few times it hasn't been ready on Tuesday, but an extra day didn't matter. My issue began this month. Ordered on Friday, no text message to say it was ready Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday or Friday Went up on Friday to be met with a queue curling around the pharmacy. After a lengthy wait I was told my prescription wasn't ready. Everyone in front of me was told the same thing. I abandoned it and called back on Monday and my prescription was ready, there was still a lengthy queue. The phone was not answered when I rang on the Thursday. I also noticed the shelves are quite empty in the shop and quite dusty. Something is obviously wrong at Well Hindley.

Been having trouble with my prescription delivery for the last few months,I understand there are problems sometimes with staff shortages or whatever but when you try and ring to get them resolved they just don’t answer the phone,they just leave it ringinging.After speaking to the surgery I know they’ve had my prescription since Friday (It’s now almost tea time on Monday) but despite ringing almost continuously for the past three days they refuse to answer.I don’t know what’s happened lately,they used to be reliable and friendly but the last few months it’s as if they can’t be bothered.I’m so frustrated I’m thinking of changing my chemist.
