I was trying to get my cholesterol injection and they kept saying it was out of stock. I gave them the prescription on October 3rd. In exasperation I contacted the manufacturer who told me it was not out of stock and gave me a phone number to give to Boots. When I tried to give them the phone number and asked them to call they said it wouldn't make any difference. I asked for the prescription back and took it to another pharmacy who said I would have it in a few days. They told me that Boots only had one supplier. At no time did Boots explain that to me and suggest I take it somewhere else. In fact I said to them around about the second week of trying to get this prescription filled that there was no point taking the prescription somewhere else as if they couldn't get it no one could and they agreed with me. This is before I contacted the manufacturer. This is a scandalous way to treat people and they should not be allowed to continue in this manne
