I took a prescription that my doctor had just given me after major surgery a few days prior. It was a 10 minute walk so I thought a short one way walk to the pharmacy would be ok. Because the Doctor didn't get the specifics of my prescription exactly right, they refused. I asked if they could call to clarify and they said no. I said I was in pain and they said sorry... That's it. So I hobbled back to the doctor and got them to update the prescription, and walked back to this pharmacy. This time because they didn't re-sign the prescription they refused it again and even suggested that I had forged the additional information myself! This time they were kind enough to call instead of making me walk back (after my persistence) then left me waiting for ages only to say that they could not get a hold of the Doctor. So I left, as they has written all over the prescription is was then unusable. You'll also be happy to know Wigmore with all the walking my stitches started bleeding! I understand that there is protocol by why is it ok to hange protocol on the second occasion? Why make someone clearly in pain feel like a criminal? Why make them exert themselves unnecessarily? Why be rude and unhelpful when you a person that distributes medicine in an expensive central London pharmacy?
