Yesterday afternoon (25/9) was extremely busy so I attended this morning (26/9), first thing (8.30am), as agreed but unfortunately due to - it seems - unexpected technical and staffing problems all outside of this pharmacy's control there was an unusual delay in receiving my prescription (and this may have applied to only a handful of others who were asked to , or chose to, come back later). I'm not so sure of the helpful lady's title, so I hope "receptionist" is acceptable to get my positive points across i.e how calm and polite she was dealing with the unfolding situation, including my slight annoyance. She's a credit to your organisation and obviously a team player and managed a difficult set of circumstances (and resulting queues) really well. This is a very popular, professional chemist and sometimes busy, so at those times I can try and apply more patience if things don't go smoothly (as expected), however, I hope in return that a little more efficiency can be applied please regarding processing & issuing these everyday transactions, and kindly suggest, from my observations yesterday and today, not just mine. Keep up the good work, you and your politeness are all appreciated by me.

I wanted to thank your branch (Christchurch Road, Reading) for another friendly & efficient experience on the counter this morning (sometime before 9am / Friday 21 June, 2019) ) in respect of politely processing my prescriptions & answering a couple of general questions. To add - today's experience echoes that of Thursday 23 May, 2019 & other times before that - since January 2019 in fact (when I switched doctors & chemists!). Rarely is there a delay and if there is they explain as it tends to be a very busy pharmacy due to its location near shops & the university area, but first thing is usually a quick turnaround, mid-morning can be a peak time.
