Service slow & terrible of late. Last 2 visits they didn't verify my address before handing over my repeat prescriptions. Issued medication that I, and my GP, hadn't requested. Took over 3 weeks to issue a repeat prescription request (resulting in me not having that medication for 2.5 weeks!). They no longer call/text to advise prescriptions are ready for collection. Service is slow, staff more often interested in chatting to each other than serving customers and rather blunt when they do serve. Have lost faith in this pharmacy and switched to Cowley Drive.

Awful service. Can wait ages before anyone comes out from the back to serve (even though the door notifies staff upon entering). Repeat prescriptions saying they are ready when they are not. Signposting for flu jab in 2021 but pharmacy claimed it could not provide the service with no timescales of when they could. Flu jab booked in 2022 with 3 x confirmations of booking. When we arrived, we were told no-one is available today. Also, rude enough to state they haven't got time to let customers know even though they wasted ours. This is our nearest local pharmacy but my Wife & I have been disappointed so many times we have since changed to one considerably further away. We just cannot continue to waste so much of our time whilst receiving such a poor service. I would suggest anyone using this pharmacy takes note along with some of the other poor reviews and avoids using them wherever possible.

I have thought long and hard about writing this review, but wouldn’t want this happening to anyone else. I spoke to the medical centre looking for advice on how to deal with severe sore throat problems due to covid. No doctors were available but they told me they would set up a phone consultation with a pharmacist from Well, Warren Way. I have never had such a sore throat before, (felt like swallowing broken glass), could I have a throat infection as well as covid? So advice on what I could do would at the very least be reassuring. Well, no one called, at 10pm I gave up waiting, I shall not use this chemist again. Woodingdean might offer a nice place to retire too, but if this is the sort of health support on offer, then woe betide if you become ill! Compare this experience….. This morning I called my old chemist who not only gave me advice but have added to their delivery, dispersible aspirin and a throat spray for delivery to me this morning.
