very bad. they try to make extra money by separating scripts when doctors issue them as one! the manager even said it was normal and not their problem! please don't go to them when there are others not far from them. all they care about is making money.

I am sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately sometimes prescriptions do arrive from the GP surgery separately across two pages despite being issued one the same day. In this situation the NHS has to charge a separate levy for the individual items. Any prescription charge payment made is passed on directly to the NHS and not retained by the pharmacy. The GP is seldom aware which patients pay for their prescriptions as their role, like that of the pharmacist is primarily clinical. This rare situation can often be rectified if the patient wishes to contact the surgery and they are able to issue the items on the same prescription.
