The staff are always friendly and ready to give advice, and they do a great job on the day to day business. However, I signed up to the prescription collection service and little did I know that the pharmacy would be ordering repeat prescriptions and not telling me! I have received messages saying that my prescription is available to pick up 'from your surgery', which makes no sense at all - why would I sign up to something if I had to pick it up from the surgery. It's wasted my time, but more importantly it's wasted the time of the receptionists at my GP surgery as I've had to call around to clarify the situation (which is still not clear). I fail to see why anyone would want the pharmacy to order but not collect the prescriptions, but if this is your new service please make it clear before people sign up to it.
