Every 4 weeks I have to pick up a number of items for my husband. He always pre-orders his prescription, and always gives a week before I go in and collect. Every 4 weeks it's the same issue, albeit with varied reasons. It's never ready, and I'm left waiting for at least 30 - 45 minutes for the prescription to be ready. Reasons so far this year have ranged from: "We've just been busy" "There's been a problem with the computer system" "The medical centre were late sending it through" (This one was proven inaccurate when followed up with the medical centre, and we could see the date it was processed) "We're short staffed" Interestingly, there seems to also be a lot of chatter and time wasted when you watch the staff at the back of the pharmacy, and I have had plenty of time to watch the events unfold. This is just a poorly managed pharmacy, with an uncomfortable atmosphere when visited, due to the huge number of onsite complaints that are continuously happening. When is someone going to take ownership of this carnage...

Hello, Thank you for your message and I am very sorry to hear of the poor service you are receiving from our Market Deeping - Market Deeping HC branch. Please be assured we take your feedback seriously and I will address your concerns with the branch manager. I understand it must be really frustrating to have to wait for your prescription to be prepared when you have allowed appropriate time for this to be ready for collection. I have discussed earlier in the week the situation at the branch with the Regional Manager, along with contacting the branch directly today. The have relief staff at the moment to help catch up and keep up with the current work load, they are also working out of hours to keep on top of this. There is also recent removal of our Managed repeat service at the branch and Electronic prescriptions are in the process of going live, this is making the work load hard to judge at the moment so it is hard to plan ahead. The Regional Manager did inform me that the general trend is improving and that he and his team are working closely with the branch to support them. I have used the Market Deeping branch for years and have always been very happy with it for years. However in recent months it has deteriorated so much. When picking up repeat prescriptions, I find that it has not been made up, or cannot be found. On three occasions I have had to go back in 2 or 3 times. Usually the queue can be a 20 minute wait and then another 10 minute wait to be told come back another day. The staff are lovely and helpful but something is wrong. I have kept waiting to see if things would improve but they don't, like many others in Deeping I have no choice but to stop using this pharmacy as on too many occasions myself or my family run out of our regular medication (despite it
