I had the misfortune today of going to the pharmacy with a prescription from my dentist. I normally get my prescriptions from Boots and I certainly wish I'd gone there today. I was ignored for at least five minutes even though they knew I was there, they were bustling around in their back room pretending they hadn't noticed me but they knew. I appreciate that they may have been busy but it isn't nice being ignored. A queue started forming behind me and I was wondering what to do as the counter was still empty and they were all hiding out the back. Finally someone condescended to serve me and I was told it would be an hour. After exclaiming that was rather a long time to wait I said I would pick it up tomorrow (21.03.18) as I was unable to wait that long. They were either understaffed or there was some other problem. I did count at least three people in that little room, but whatever the problem the service simply was not good enough or efficient to any degree. If I was an unscrupulous person I could easily have made off with things that were displayed on that counter. Let's hope things are better tomorrow when I pick up the prescription.
