I was in this shop in Thursday lunch time around about 12.30 as I wanted to get some supplies on my lunch break there was one lady serving a gentleman in the shop floor but no other staff in sight there was a lot of laughing and talking behind the medicine wall so was staff there just not serving I stood there for quite a while waiting and in the end had to walk away as I was on my break from work I ended up using another chemist when I finished work where the staff were happy to help

I went to the pharmacy today to collect my wife’s repeat prescription.I was behind a woman taking to one of the pharmacist’s about going to her relatives wedding. She just went on and on but I remained patient and waited my turn. When at last it was my turn I was told “ sorry we are now closed until 3.05 pm .The pharmacist pointed to a notice stating closed from 2.05 pm until 3.05 pm.I looked at my watch and it showed 2.06 pm. I was totally dumbstruck. I said to her surely you can’t be serious but she was. I showed her the time on my watch but she still refused to obtain my wife’s prescription.I said if you hadn’t been talking to the woman for about 5 minutes I would have been on time. Even so I was only one minute late.I asked to speak to the manager but was told that she wouldn’t be here until Tuesday. When I asked for the manager’s name another colleague told me to calm down but I wasn’t being rude or offensive . I think I had every right to be irritated over the way I was being treated. After I was collecting my wife’s prescription which consisted of statins and Amlodipine and not just some cough sweets.Not taking this medication could have extremely serious consequences. I have used this pharmacy numerous times before and have never had problems until today. I should like an apology and an explanation. Regards, Peter.
