Every 3 months I tend to visit this Pharmacy when visiting clients, a cyclical appointment. I suffer from migraines, hereditary from my Father, and only recently discovered I have an underactive thyroid. The staff have always been very pleasant, but today the Pharmacist was summoned, and I was told I'd bought the Nurofen, "earlier in the week". Please bear in mind today is Monday! I advised the Pharmacist I wouldn't have been for 3 months, and having only returned from business abroad recently (Friday 20th September). Perhaps I look rought from the jet-lag, but this didn't seem to have any effect on the situation. Despite there being umpteen customers behind me, I wasn't asked to discuss this matter in privacy, instead I was effectively told I am a liar, and bent the laws of physics and time to purchase OTC Medication. I advised the Pharmacist I would take a large pack of the product, and not return. I was severly embarrassed in front of numerous customers, so would not visit a Listers Pharmacy again, and will advise others of my experience. Surely Listers provide training for addressing sensitive issues like this??
