I don’t generally feel compelled to write reviews but this chemist has annoyed me so much I had to share, as I can only assume they stay in business because of their convenient proximity to the doctors! My doctors set them up as my default pharmacy for digital prescriptions presumably because they were closest and therefore assumed to be the most convenient. As of Monday that’s something I will be changing. Here is a summary of my last few visits: 1)They refused to give me my contraception pill free of charge as I couldn’t prove I was using it for contraception and not for another purpose! I had to go back to my doctors and ask for a female symbols to be added (Which neither exists on a keyboard or had my doctor/ surgery ever heard of this before). When I returned with the hand written symbol on my prescription the women told me I would need to come back as they were closing. 2) I was told they couldn’t find my repeat prescription sent digitally several days earlier, when they “found” it by checking their computer. They hadn’t got any stock so I need to go back - having left enough time before collecting they should really have ordered it in. What the point of sending a prescription in advance if 5hey ignore it until you get there 3) Having just had my appointment and my prescription being sent digitally to the chemist p, I walked across to pick it up, only to be told they hadn’t received it yet and it can take up to an hour to appear from the ether! I said I would come back in an hour but gave in 1.5 hrs to be safe. When I arrived back I was then told they hadn’t printed it off yet and I would now have to wait up to 3/4 of an hour for it to be dispensed. When I asked how this was a more convenient service as I could have taken a written prescription to another chemist and been leaving with it in less than 5 minutes the lady just shrugged and said if I didn’t want to wait she could return it digitally to my surgery and I could go back and get 5he doctor to send it somewhere else! This along with unhelpful staff and generally longer than average waits I won’t be bothering with this store again and will be going to Cross Chemists down the road who are always lovely and helpful

I apologise for the disappointing service and waiting times you experienced when visiting this branch and have decided to go elsewhere due to this. I can assure you this isn't the level of service we expect for our customers and I am very sorry you had to go through this. I use this branch of Lloyds to collect my monthly repeat prescription and I have been very impressed by how much trouble they will go to, in order to sort out problems or deal with any of my oit of spec needs.

Having agreed to this pharmacy managing my prescriptions, I now find that my items are never ready for collection and I have either to wait for an unacceptable time or return later. The attitude of management is arrogant - "soon there'll be no option". Whether or not this is true, it's not a helpful attitude.
