Because I work nights my go recommended nytol instead of sleeping tablets just to get a sleeping pattern. I was hesitant to visit this chemist as it does have a terrible reputation in the town. I was questioned very fiercely by a non medical assistant (the same person known to the town) as questioning got worse she called over the pharmacist who said I must answer questions which I was. He then asked the assistant if I was known to her!!!! At this point I felt insulted and upset and walked out. Fortunately there were no other customers in the shop as everyone has the same opinion of the chemist. I’m am definitely not a junky, just starting a stretch of night shifts as a qualified professional medic. Stay clear of this atrocious pharmacy.

On wishing to hand in scripts for tablets i was rudely told in a loud voice to go to the box near the door to post it..The box is the incorrect type. Each person has to lift the lid rather than post it. Not very safe for customers in this season of covid 19. Twenty four hours later i went in to this chemist to enquire if my prescription was ready. The same person shouted at me saying see the notice it takes five days . I have diminished sight,.i had just returned from hospital, having dilated pupils and poor vision.I told her that I could not see twice This person is continually nasty. If there was a better alternative I would go elsewhere. A positively stressful and demoralising experience which I have to go through every month.
