Went to collect a prescription that was sent electronically, After waiting 15 mins ( 3 people working behind the counter, today its 38°c, my child was with me) asked for name and dob, I provided both for my child. Waited for her to check only to be told they need the NHS number to give me the prescription!!!!! The reason I know this is ridiculous is... I work as A nurse in the NHS and there are many ways to skin a cat. They could have found her information in a few different ways, however were stuck on her nhs number. We have collected prescriptions there before about 3 years ago as I try not to give medications to my daughter. I suppose the receptionist thought this would effect me.... nope it's the 4 year old that needs it, and I'm more than happy to have the pharmacy changed and for the money they would have been paid by the NHS to fill the prescription go somewhere else.
