Honestly, it's like a different store since the new manager has arrived! There's usually a queue out of the door, ridiculously long wait times and poor staff attitudes. But that's a thing of the past now! The young man has come in and really turned it around. Staff are friendly and eager to help. The organisation is so much better, meaning the wait times are significantly decreased. The manager/pharmacist himself is a lovely lad. It's an all-round much better experience now. The only thing I can complain about is the floor - could probably do with a new one as it brings the inside of the pharmacy down a little, but apart from that it's fab!

Let me start by saying many people will only leave negative reviews online and those like me who have had a truly brilliant experience will most likely keep it to themselves or a few close friends. I visited this pharmacy last Tuesday and talked at length with the new manager in branch. He talked to me about the challenges the branch faces with previous managers and staffing issues and his plans moving forward. I felt “previous issues” was his polite way of saying it was like a circus. I was having trouble sourcing the item on my prescription and my regular pharmacy (which I moved to from here) didn’t have it in stock and weren’t bothered about getting it in stock. The manager phoned numerous suppliers and other branches and managed to source the item THAT AFTERNOON. It was ready for me to collect at 4oclock when having so much trouble at only 12oclock. It is really refreshing for a pharmacist to take 15 minutes out of their day to speak to their customers as I know how busy (especially here) they are but while I was in people weren’t waiting for their prescriptions. They were all ready and on the shelf! Let me explain, this was NEVER the case before. What an outstanding job this man has done. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves from the company. Well done young man, and if you’re sceptical come and try the pharmacy for yourselves - the atmosphere is different, the ability of the staff seems to have improved and the overall service has gone back to how it was 3/4 years ago. Bravo.
