if you are thinking of using the Pharmacy at Leighton Buzzard, don’t bother. We have used during a difficult time with a serious illness in the family. During this time we have needed a number of medicines on prescription with regular repeats. Every time (and I mean every time) we have been to the Pharmacy they do not have the stock in place but only tell you after they have processed. The only response the give you is to issue an IOU for the missing items. On several occasions we have gone back to the Doctors and obtained another prescription so we could take it to a customer focussed Pharmacy. If your prescription is important please do not use this service, it will save you a lot of time queuing and a great deal of stress as you drugs run out. The staff manning the Pharmacy do not seem interested and tend to blame the Doctors. There is no customer service and a lack of empathy. It is probably one of the worst experiences we have had. To be consistently this bad over 10 months is quite shocking. You are best collecting you prescription from the doctors and going to Boots or Lloyd’s.
