Cohen's has taken over several chemists in the area that used to be Murrays which were a lovely firm. Having ordered my 87 year old mum's prescription last Tuesday, and as I'm currently in a different county, I called Cohens first thing today (Monday)to ensure her pain killers were being delivered. Yes they confirmed they are with the driver and will be delivered today. 17:30 I called mum and surprise surprise no meds. Immediately I rang Cohens and was informed that her meds have been returned to the chemist as when the driver called she was out. Very strange as she is housebound and rarely ventures upstairs let alone outside. For months the Dr has been telling me that mum's dressings have been ordered, the district nurses have said nothing has come through and Cohen's blame all and sundry. I'm absolutely furious that this further delay means my mum is now going to have another day/night of pain. Cohens you should be ashamed. I will be speaking to the Dr tomorrow and looking in to receiving her prescriptions via Royal Mail in future.
