I phoned to see if drugs were in stock,they were unavailable but very helpful staff ordered them and then phoned me to inform me that they had arrived. Staff were empathetic and very helpful.

We were really pleased as a family when the attached to Dr's, pharmacy opened many years ago. In the earlier years the service was above excellent. There was a few years when the service was dire, rude and uncaring with scripts not being delivered and medication wrong. There has been marked improvement in the last couple of years. It does seem to go on whom you speak to, too. As our surgery is next door the pharmacy has made life much easier for getting repeat prescriptions which are delivered. I would advocate if you have any meds that need to be refrigerated you ask the pharmacy to note this on the main screen of the patient for the fridge to be checked before delivery of items. This is the only way we found a way round my husband insulin guaranteed to be delivered with other items. Because my Doctor, I usually see, is now frequently at another area surgery which I will go to when I need to see them directly due to on-going health issues, and the doctor knowing our history I find it useful as the doctor will send my scripts directly through to the pharmacy which saves me taking them to a chemist. I can then ring them to deliver. The Pharmacy is open from early to late daily including generous opening hours on a Sunday which is very useful especially if you dont have transport. Overall I have given the pharmacy good recommendation stars, which I would not have done so a few years ago. I think there were alot of constructive feedback/complaints put in a few years ago where they had to look at what was happening in the service they provided. Yes I would recommend. Some staff aren't always friendly and could do better. However there is 1 person who has worked there many years who is lovely. They have always been a great help, friendly and supportive. I always try to speak to this person when I ring or go in if there are questions or complexities I need sorting. It is a busy practice so it isn't going to be perfect however overall I would recommend it
