I have a regular monthly prescription that has been the same for years, however without fail everytime I try and collect it is never ready and causes total confusion. Most of the time they can’t find it for and after 20-30 minutes of searching various piles of paper they tell me they have no record of it. Even when I ring up and am told it is ready to be collected it is still not available when I turn up to collect it. Most recently when I rang they said that it had already been collected and “I wasn’t due for a new script for 3 weeks” after I checked with doctors they told me that this wasn’t correct and the pharmacy hadn’t collected it in the first place. Overall I have no confidence that the staff follow any standard process and everytime I go in I am told a different storey. Something so simple as a repeat script seems to cause huge administrative problems for the pharmacy.

I don't usually leave reviews, probably because I usually encounter such good service, but I felt I had to today. I have been prescribed antibiotics and took my prescription in to the pharmacy. I also had my 1 year old daughter who over the long wait had become increasingly fussy. A gentleman who had come in after me was being served by the pharmacist as they didn't have his prescription in stock. This took an inordinately long time so I asked the assistant if my prescription was ready. They told me that it had been ready a while and was just waiting for the pharmacist. I am quite ill and have a crying baby at this point, so I interrupted the pharmacist and the gentleman and asked if it was ok to serve me because of my child. The gentleman was apologetic but the pharmacist simply told me that they were dealing with someone else and carried on ordering new drugs and making me wait. The pharmacist was very abrupt and completely unsympathetic, which I presumed was a necessary quality in someone who deals with sick people! I have been in a couple of times and they haven't had what I needed, which is bad planning and this pharmacist seems to want to waste other people's time by ordering on the job instead of helping people. Needless to say I won't be going in here again! Rant over....I feel better now.
