We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Tablets never ready, we collect every Thursday of the month, still waiting today and they r still not sent a text saying they r done , my partner has run out so not had his mornings | |||||||

I visited this chemist on 8th October as they do my prescriptions every month for me. I had a problem because the surgery had put the wrong date on my prescription so it hadn't gone to the chemist and I was going on holiday on 9th for a few days. The young girl on the counter was extremely helpful and looked everywhere for it and suggested it may have been post dated by the Doctor. She advised me to check with the doctors and see if they could change the date so it would go to the chemist the same day so I could have it before my holiday. I took her advice and went to the doctors. I did manage to get it sorted and went back in to tell the chemist. The young girl was, again, very helpful and offered to keep an eye out for my prescription and get it ready for me. I went back later the same day and it was ready on the shelf for me. This pharmacy is possibly one of the worst I have ever come across. On the odd occasion you may have one of the staff members speak to you as you arrive but usually there's a 10 minute wait of you just standing in front of them until they realise you do actually want to be seen to.
And if you manage to get through on the phone (usually engaged constantly because as witnessed, the phone is usually ignored) there is no introduction like 'Hello Well Pharmacy how can I help' its just 'hi/yeah' - very professional.
And there is no trying to help you resolve a query or concern you may have. If your prescription is anyway slightly wrong or there's is something amiss, there is no 'Oh let me help' its 'Go next door and sort it' (Not that next door are much help either)
